This series of pencil and ink drawings was inspired by the amazing people I have met over the years who have faced tough times with courage.

Some were child welfare workers, counselors, foster parents and emergency personnel who daily dealt with traumatic situations. Others were friends, clients and

neighbors who had faced with grace traumatic situations in their personal lives,.
